Theodore Dupont Obituary

Theodore V. Dupont, 86, was born in Griswold, CT on August 10, 1937. Theodore (Ted) passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at William W. Backus Hospital. Ted was the son of Adelard and Marie (Violet) Dupont, and lived his entire life in the Griswold/Jewett City area. In high school, Ted took over the family poultry farm (Featherland Farms) on the Griswold/Preston town line, until the farm went out of business in the 80’s. At that time, he worked in the service industry until his retirement. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed landscaping and baking. Ted is survived by his daughter, Brenda and her wife Renee, and their two children, Miles and Skyler. Ted is predeceased by his ex-wife Judy, daughter Robin, and partner Ulise.

Services will be private with no visitation.
